      <title>Five research assistant positions for the project "Decoding Antisemitsm"</title>

      <description>For a 3-year research project on anti-semitic hate speech and hate images on the internet, research assistants are wanted. A qual­it­at­ive lin­guistic con­tent ana­lysis of social media com­ments and analysis of image mater­ial and text-image rela­tion­ships related to anti­semitic con­tent is planned. In addi­tion, quant­it­at­ive lin­guistic meth­ods will also be applied to the social media cor­pus. For the coun­try teams we are seek­ing two doc­toral stu­dents for the Eng­lish lan­guage area, two for the French lan­guage area and one for the Ger­man lan­guage area. </description>

      <description>On June 18th and 19th 2020 the Badische Landesbibliothek organizes the international and interdisciplinary congress “The return of the Wigalois - a handwriting of the 15th century in the focus of new research approaches”. The congress presents and discusses first results of the again possible scientific altercation with materiality of the handwriting, its production context and the book market at the upper Rhine, for which it was produced. </description>

      <description>Im Arbeitsbereich Mittelalterliche Geschichte der Universität Hamburg ist eine Stelle als Wissenschaftliche*r Mitarbeiter*in mit Spezialisierung in der Geschichte des Früh- und Hochmittelalters - Egr. 13 TV-L – befristet für die Dauer von zunächst drei Jahren zu besetzen. Die wöchentliche Arbeitszeit entspricht 50% der regelmäßigen wöchentlichen Arbeitszeit.       <title>La protection du patrimoine culturel en Europe et en Rhénanie</title>

      <description>Ce colloque traitera de la protection du patrimoine culturel en Europe et en Rhénanie. Franziskus comte Wolff Metternich (1893-1978), conservateur provincial et du Land de Rhénanie entre 1928 et 1950, et directeur du Kunstschutz dans les territoires occupés pendant la seconde guerre mondiale, joue par son activité un rôle important dans la réflexion sur la protection des biens culturels au XXe siècle. Le colloque se propose de présenter les résultats rassemblés par un projet de recherche de trois ans sur les sources du Kunstschutz et sur le réseau de Wolff Metternich, projet implanté au sein du LVR -AFZ (Archivberatungs- und Fortbildungszentrum du Landschaftsverband Rheinland / Centre de conseil et de formation en archives des autorités régionales de Rhénanie). </description>

Le voyage d’études offre, à des étudiantes et étudiants, doctorantes et doctorants allemands et français en histoire du Moyen Âge disposant des connaissances de base de l’autre langue, l’occasion de se familiariser avec la pratique de la recherche et du paysage scientifique en Allemagne. </description>

      <description>Dealing with and valuing cultural assets is a key challenge of our time, which concerns historical, legal, ethical, aesthetic and political aspects. The European Commission has declared 2018 to be the European Heritage Year. In the summer semester of 2018, the Ludwig Maximilians Universität München, in cooperation with the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and Art, established a junior professorship for "Values of Cultural Assets and Provenance Research" at the Institute for Art History of the LMU Munich. </description>

      <description>Face au sentiment de « crise » de la démocratie de ces dernières années, amplifié par la montée des mouvements populistes, la comparaison avec l’entre-deux-guerres est récurrente dans le débat politique de nombreux pays européens. Est-elle pour autant pertinente pour comprendre les enjeux démocratiques spécifiques aux deux périodes ? Tel est le point de départ de la journée d’étude inaugurant le Programme formation recherche « Quelle(s) démocratie(s) ? Réflexions sur la crise, la modernisation et les limites de la démocratie en Allemagne, en France, en Angleterre et en Europe centrale entre 1919 et 1939 » soutenu par le Centre interdisciplinaire d’études et de recherches sur l’Allemagne (CIERA). </description>
