SCHWEIGEN » le Centre allemand d’histoire de l’art de Paris dispense plusieurs bourses de recherche destinées aux doctorants, pour une durée de 12 mois, ainsi qu’une bourse réservée à un docteur en cours d’habilitation, pour une durée de 24 mois / Zum Jahresthema 2011/2012 „SILENCE. SCHWEIGEN.“ vergibt das Deutsche Forum für Kunstgeschichte zum 1. September 2011 mehrere Forschungsstipendien (12 Monate) sowie ein Habilitationsstipendium (24 Monate) / In relation to the annual theme for 2011/2012 “SILENCE” the German Centre for the History of Art in Paris will award several research fellowships for doctoral candidates for the period of 12 months and one post-doctoral fellowship for the period of 24 months.

Terra Foundation for American Art International Essay Prize. In Partnership with American Art

The Terra Foundation for American Art International Essay Prize recognizes excellent scholarship by a non-U.S. scholar in the field of historical American art (circa 1500—1980). The winning manuscript submission should advance understanding of American art and demonstrate new findings and original perspectives. It will be translated and published in American Art, the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s scholarly journal, which will also cover the cost of image rights and reproductions, and the winner will receive a $500 award.
