  International conference organized by the European Society for Nineteenth-Century Art, the Netherlands Institute for Art History (RKD) and The Mesdag Collection, in conjunction with the exhibition on the artist, collector and gentleman-dealer Hendrik Willem Mesdag and the Dutch Watercolour Society, at The Mesdag Collection in The Hague, the publication on this illustrious artist and his different roles within the art world, and the digital reconstruction of the art collection owned by Mesdag, carried out by the Netherlands Institute for Art History.

  Sciences sociales, cinéma et audiovisuel à l’ère numérique

  Séminaire SsCAN

  Dans le courant des années 2000, le cinéma est devenu un objet à part entière pour les sciences sociales. Investi par des approches variées, de la sociologie des champs à celle des « mondes de l’art », des « cultural studies » à l’ethnologie, de la socio-histoire à la sociologie économique en passant par l’analyse des politiques publiques, le cinéma accède enfin au statut d’objet légitime. Le séminaire se propose de faire un état des lieux de ces enjeux, à partir de rencontres autour de parutions récentes et de recherches en cours. Un pot offert à l'issue de chaque séance permettra de poursuivre nos échanges.
