  Le contrat d’ingénieur(e) de recherche bénéficie d’un financement dans le cadre du projet « Normonde. Empires en Seine. Les Normands comme acteurs de la mondialisation – IX^e- XXI^e siècles », financé par le réseau d’intérêt normand porté par l’université Le havre Normandie (Jean-François Klein, professeur d'histoire contemporaine). Le travail envisagé sera d’engager un travail d’archivage ainsi que la constitution d’une base de données historique à dimension socio-économique et maritime.

  The use of minted coins was one of the major innovations in the ancient world of the first millennium BCE. Invented in Lydia in the seventh century, coinage spread rapidly throughout the Greek world, first in the Greek cities in Asia Minor, next to Aegina and Athens and soon to the other cities across the Aegean and Mediterranean area. Before the introduction of minted coins, exchange was largely based on weights of precious metals, in smaller amounts weighed on scales, a practice to which striking fixed weights of metal seems just a small and logical step. Yet the swift success of coinage, evidenced by rapidly increasing number of Greek poleis adopting the new medium, shows that the potential of coins to surpass weighed bullion in practical use for all kinds of transactions was recognised early on.

  Le Comité d'histoire de l'électricité et de l'énergie soutient les travaux d'étudiants en sciences humaines sur l’électricité et l'énergie à travers un programme sélectif de soutiens financiers à la recherche dont le montant est compris entre 1500 et 3000 euros. Les sujets acceptés devront porter, au moins partiellement, sur l’histoire de l’électricité, ou plus généralement de l'énergie, en France, en Europe ou ailleurs dans le monde.
