Ce stage s’inscrit le cadre du projet OOPAIP (Ontologie et outil pour l’annotation des interventions politiques). Dans ce projet, nous cherchons précisément à appréhender (voire à modéliser) l’analyse des discours et des rôles à la lumière d’un ensemble de variables descriptives et explicatives simples mais extrêmement précieuses sociologiquement : un ensemble d’indicateurs contextuels (type de média ; chaîne ; format de l’émission), conjoncturels (noms des journalistes et des invités) ainsi que des indicateurs de capitaux au sein du jeu politique (parti et famille politiques, majorité/opposition, position dans le champ politique) et de propriétés sociales (genre, études, âges) pour certaines attribuées conjoncturellement (titre à parler et opportunité de l’invitation).

For a 3-year research project on anti-semitic hate speech and hate images on the internet, research assistants are wanted. A qualitative linguistic content analysis of social media comments and analysis of image material and text-image relationships related to antisemitic content is planned. In addition, quantitative linguistic methods will also be applied to the social media corpus. For the country teams we are seeking two doctoral students for the English language area, two for the French language area and one for the German language area.

Two post-doctoral positions for the projet "Decoding Antisemitism"
In the three-year pilot project "Identifying the Real Dimension of Antisemitism 2.0 in Europe", an international research team will investigate antisemitic language and image use on news websites and social media platforms of the political mainstream in three European countries (Germany, Great Britain and France). First, the object of investigation is analysed in detail. In the second step, all of the examined phenomena are investigated in their breadth by means of quantitative analyses. Main tasks of the post-doctoral positions will be, on one hand, the qualitative linguistic content analysis of social media comments and analysis of image material and text-image relationships in relation to antisemitic content; on the other hand, the application of quantitative linguistic methods to the social media corpus.

Le laboratoire d’excellence (labex) Les passés dans le présent : histoire, patrimoine, mémoire et l’université Paris Lumières proposent un contrat post-doctoral en sciences humaines. Le projet CARDO - « Carnets de fouilles. La documentation archéologique immergée (1898-1986) » à partir de deux cas d’étude, entre Gaule et Italie préromaine se propose d’étudier et de valoriser une série d’archives archéologiques inédites du XXe siècle. À partir de l’inventaire, du référencement, et de la numérisation de ces archives, l'objectif est d’engager une réflexion proprement épistémologique qui débouchera sur une publication collective et la mise en ligne des documents. La ou le post-doctorant·e s’impliquera activement dans tous les axes du projet pour en assurer le suivi opératif, et sera donc amené·e à effectuer des missions de moyenne durée, en région et en Italie. Il ou elle participera également à la conception et à la coordination du volume collectif.

Full-time, 36-month-long international PhD contract at Sorbonne University (PhD program IV) within the research centre Eur'ORBEM and in partnership with the French Research Centre in Social Sciences (CEFRES) in Prague, from 1 October 2020, under the supervision of Clara Royer. The PhD thesis may be written in French or in English. PhD propositions should focus on the discourses and practices surrounding the orphan condition in literature and/or visual arts (cinema, photography, graphic arts and so forth) in the wake of the violence and demographic upheavals that characterized 20th century East-Central Europe. Because of its interdisciplinary scope, applicants with a background in social history, literary studies and/or visual arts specialized in one or several countries of East-Central Europe may apply.
