Au cours de la « deuxième révolution industrielle » augmente considérablement l’activité dans le tertiaire et se développent les services administratifs dans le secteur industriel et public. L’employé devient ainsi la figure sociale de la modernité urbaine, qui témoigne aussi du rôle croissant de la femme dans ce secteur professionnel. Le colloque The office as an interior (1880-1960) aborde l’essor du travail administratif entre 1880 et 1960 à travers l’analyse de l’émergence d´un espace nouveau, le bureau, qui par ses arrangements contribue à la diffusion de nouvelles formes de sociabilité et réalise des nouveaux modes d’organisation du travail.

Dimensions of the Labor Market Dynamics

France Japan Comparison

Le symposium Dimensions of Labor Markets Dynamics organisé à la Maison Franco-Japonaise de Tokyo les 23 et 24 mars est issu d'un programme de recherche intitulé Newdynam: Nouvelle dynamique de la gestion des âges et genre sur les marchés du travail: comparaison France-Japon. Alors que la France et le Japon se caractérisaient par la prééminence des marchés internes du travail jusque dans la fin des années 1980, il se demande comment leur déstabilisation a conduit, de façon différente dans chacun des pays, à une dynamique de la gestion d’emploi renouvelée. Pour ce faire, il utilise à la fois des méthodes comparatives quantitatives et qualitatives aux niveaux national (évolution des types d'emploi etc.) et d'entreprises (Sidérurgie, électricité, centres d'appels, universités etc.).

La psychothérapie en Europe. Spécificités nationales et tendances communes

On observe actuellement un puissant mouvement d’homogénéisation de toutes les enjeux qui concerne « la psychothérapie » (catégorie qui inclut la psychanalyse), qu’il s’agisse de ses usages, de ses théories et méthodes, des questions professionnelles. Le colloque vise à comprendre à la fois ce mouvement d’homogénéisation et la recomposition d’identités psychothérapeutiques nationales. La première journée sera dédiée à « La psychothérapie au croisement de questions anthropologique et institutionnelles », la seconde à « Politiques de santé mentale et régulation de la pratique psychothérapeutique »

Approches critiques de la responsabilité sociale de l'entreprise

The purpose of this seminar is to investigate critical perspectives on Corporate Social Responsibility. The workshop aims is to achieve three intertwined goals:- The first objective is to take stock of the critics addressed to the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) concept in past research and to map the discursive field of CSR;- The second is to demonstrate how the shortcomings of positivists and functionalist views on CSR might be overcome and to open new research perspectives on CSR;- The third objective is to elaborate a typology of the various critics of CSR by relying on the categories and theoretical foundations provided by each of the critical perspectives used to investigate CSR in past research and during the workshop.
