Contrats postdoctoraux 2026-2028 du musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac
La mission du musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac est de mener un travail de recherche sur et autour des collections qu’il abrite, ainsi que sur le passé et le présent des mondes extra-européens et de leurs relations avec l’Europe. Dans cet esprit, le musée attribue tous les ans des contrats postdoctoraux, notamment dans les disciplines suivantes : anthropologie, archéologie, histoire, histoire des arts, sociologie, ethnomusicologie. Cette année, le musée du quai Branly -Jacques Chirac attribue deux contrats postdoctoraux pour une durée de deux ans (2026-2028).

Le projet Intimate Colonies (IC) place la dimension intime et familiale de la question coloniale au cœur de son analyse, dans le but d’apporter des éclairages originaux sur les significations et les enjeux des héritages et des mémoires coloniales dans les sociétés européennes contemporaines. Le projet se distingue des travaux existants en réunissant, au sein d’un même cadre analytique, les mémoires coloniales des familles issues des sociétés colonisées et de celles associées aux sociétés colonisatrices, reflétant ainsi la réalité multiculturelle des sociétés européennes partagées par ces populations, plutôt que d’aborder un seul versant de ce système relationnel.

This project aims at the assessment, study and disclosure of this collection. This function is part of the FED-tWIN programme of the Federal Science Policy, which aims to promote sustainable cooperation between the ten Federal Scientific Institutions and the 11 Belgian universities through the funding of joint research profiles. In this case, its is a joint initiative of the Royal Museums of Art and History in Brussels and Ghent University. The position consists of a part-time position at the Royal Museums of Art and History in Brussels combined with a part-time position at Ghent University. It combines research tasks, educational tasks, organization of exhibitions, project leading tasks.
