  Circulation des études décoloniales entre le Brésil et la France

  Le débat sur la pensée décoloniale latino-américaine, bien que présent en français depuis une vingtaine d'années, a récemment fait l’objet de controverses. Le décolonial apparaît identifié par les groupes conservateurs et d’extrême-droite avec des termes inventés par ces mêmes détracteurs, tels qu’islamo-gauchisme, communautarisme ou wokisme. Or, sur le continent américain, ce courant s'est avéré être l’un des plus dynamiques et enrichissants, faisant bouger les champs intellectuels des différents pays du continent, malgré les critiques scientifiques dont il a fait l’objet. Ce séminaire vise à contribuer à un sujet encore peu étudié dans ce sens, à savoir, la place du Brésil dans la circulation de la pensée décoloniale latino-américaine en France.

  Decolonial Studies 2015-2025 – State of the Field: Africas – Americas – Europe

  In 2015, the first conference dedicated to decolonial studies was held at Lumière University Lyon 2. Ten years ago, decolonial studies, born in South America, were little known in France. The Toulouse conference, to be held in October 2025, aims to take stock, ten years later, of decolonial studies in European, American, and African spaces (Francophone, Lusophone, and Anglophone).

  Imago, Actus et Verbum. Challenges and Questions in Medieval Studies

  A crossdisciplinary dialogue between philology, philosophy, history, art and literature

  On the outset of the 21st century, cross-disciplinary studies on the Middle Ages seem to be in need of a careful reconsideration of their nature, scope and aims. This is specially so after the series of "turns" undergone by historiography in the last four decades. Despite their differences, philosophy, history, philology , literary studies and art are also bound through their work on texts; and all are currently faced with both methodological and substantive issues raised by important shifts in contemporary society. This congress is devoted to a global assessment of the current state of affairs in medieval studies, but also the upcoming challenges.

  Dance: history and historiography

  This dossier is inserted in the field of dance, its history and historiographies – in the web of complexities of processes of centralizations and decentralizations, influences and consolidation, circulation, appropriations, migrations and transpositions of sources, uses and knowledge. It also addresses the challenges of the production of dance history, considering the dynamics of digital technologies for production of images and sounds, as well as inter and transdisciplinary relations that can support these reflections. This call invites authors to submit previously unpublished articles about procedures and research in dance, through approaches that, based on the polysemy of the word history, is inserted in the lines of education, creation, production and diffusion of the language of dance.

  The ergological approach : assessment and perspectives

  Afin d’établir un bilan et de tracer des perspectives, cet appel à communications pour le IV^e c ongrès de la Société internationale d’ergologie (SIE) - qui aura lieu à Brasilia, Brésil, les 27, 28 et 29 août 2018 - s’appuie sur la diversité des travaux des différents groupes dans le monde qui mènent des recherches en convoquant la démarche ergologique. Rappelons que les recherches qui se réclament de la démarche ergologique ne sauraient se réduire aux seuls travaux menés dans un cadre universitaire ou effectués par des chercheurs professionnels. Elles incluent par principe toutes les initiatives qui ont pour objectif d’illustrer et de développer les connaissances sur l’activité humaine.

  This symposium aims to question the critical use of cross-cutting methodologies in the fieldsof humanities and linguistics, the exchanges and practices of pluri-, inter- or transdisciplinarity between this research fields. The papers will question to what extent one's research topics required the use of cross-cutting methodologies; how the use of these methodologies shed a new light on these topics.
