  Cultural heritage and local development in the Cameroon

  L'objectif de cette journée d'étude est d'interroger le lien entre patrimoine culturel et développement local. Il s'agit dans le contexte multiculturel camerounais de susciter la réflexion sur la contribution potentielle des patrimoines culturels dans la transformation des structures productives et sociales des territoires qui les abritent. Les communications abordent les difficultés conceptuelles, méthodologiques et statistiques tout autant que les enjeux et les limites de la mesure de l'apport d'un domaine de l'activité économique et sociale au développement d'un territoire.

  Water quality and usages of water - 2012

  EDEQUE 2012 doctoral seminars

  This multidisciplinary meeting will bring together all PhD students, teachers, researchers and partners working in the fields of science, technology and socio-economic aspects of water. The theme of the meeting of this year is titled "the achievements of water reform and funding in Africa: Case of Senegal". This year's seminar of EDEQUE will revisit the main points in the institutional reforms of the water sector initiated by the gouvernment. This meeting will be a great forum of exchange and sharing of scientific results. It will be also an occasion, for young research students to present to the participants the progress of their PhD reaseach work and to visit laboratories, water infrastructures sites on the ground.

  Study day on "African heritagisations"

  IFRA-Nairobi research seminar

  Le séminaire est organisé en préambule à un colloque international qui est à l’initiative du Ministère français des affaires étrangères et européennes et de l'ambassade de France au Kenya : 'Patrimoine, mémoire et politique', du 23 au 25 juin à Mombasa. Ce colloque réunira des représentants de nombreuses institutions œuvrant à la patrimonialisation du continent : EPA, CHDA, UNESCO, Musées Nationaux du Kenya, Direction Nationale du Patrimoine Culturel de Bamako, Ministère de la Culture (France), Agence France Museum, Musée du Quai Branly, IRD, AFD, etc. En marge de cette rencontre, l’IFRA souhaite inviter des doctorants et post-doctorants travaillant sur les mises en patrimoine à travers le continent africain.
