  1956-1958 : une époque de révolutions qui changèrent l’Afrique (et le monde)

  The objective of this panel is to compare the various social mobilizations that took place in Africa during the years 1956-1958 and which arguably constitute a historical watershed. The main aim of the panel is not the making of an abstract comparative analysis, but the analysis, based on the testimonial material collected, of how the memory of these events has been structured over time. Moreover, we are interested in understanding what the impacts of these social movements were on the structuring of states and what continuities can be found between the mobilizations of that period and the ary social mobilizations that have shaken the continent in the last ten years, from the ‘Arab Spring’ of 2011 onwards.

  Le patrimoine culturel portuaire

  Dans une perspective internationale et avec des approches méthodologiques différentes, ce quatrième colloque international sur le patrimoine culturel portuaire vise à approfondir les expériences de préservation des paysages portuaires. Le champ de présentation des recherches porte également sur le devenir des relations entre le port et la ville, d'un point de vue interdisciplinaire et inter-institutionnel. Le choix du musée Benito Quinquela Martín à Buenos Aires comme lieu de rencontre revêt une importance particulière en raison de la place de La Boca, premier port de l'histoire argentine.

  El clamor de la libertad. Voces y silencios de la Antigüedad a nuestros días (Bicentenario de la Revolución de Mayo)

  IV Jornadas Internacionales de Reflexión Histórica

  El Instituto de Historia Antigua y Medieval de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, con la organización de las IV Jornadas Internacionales de Reflexión Histórica “El Clamor de la libertad. Voces y silencios de la Antigüedad a nuestros días” conmemora el Bicentenario de la Revolución de Mayo que marcó el camino hacia la independencia en Argentina, integrando los estudios clásicos y medievales con la temática convocante. Participarán investigadores argentinos y europeos que expondrán temas relacionados con la búsqueda de la libertad a través de los distintos ciclos de la historia. Las Jornadas están destinadas a investigadores, alumnos y personas interesadas en la temática y serán de asistencia libre y gratuita, con inscripción previa en historiaantiguaymedieval@filo.uba.ar
