  The Politicised Practice Research Group in the The School of the Arts, English and Drama at Loughborough University is offering a three-year PhD scholarship for a practice-based research project starting in October 2018. We welcome the submission of high-quality proposals that have the potential to make a substantive contribution to research within the School and invite proposals that address the following research theme: Re-imagining citizenship through practice.

  IHA doctoral contracts: International challenges and the emergence of a public spaces in Europe since the 1970s

  Dans le cadre d’un nouvel axe de recherche, l’Institut historique allemand (IHA) à Paris offre pour l’automne 2014 des contrats doctoraux sur le thème « Défis internationaux et émergence d’un espace public en Europe depuis les années 1970 ». Les recherches porteront d’un point de vue historique sur la question des convergences dans la perception des défis internationaux en Europe, ainsi que sur la définition des politiques européennes qui en résultent. Il s’agira de mettre à l’épreuve la pertinence de cette approche, en s’appuyant notamment mais pas exclusivement sur les questions environnementales. Les sujets en lien avec l’Allemagne et / ou la France sont appréciés, mais pas obligatoires.
