  Christianity, language contact, language change

  The present workshop addresses questions of language contact and language change, as well as language standardization in the Christian context both in Europe and in the New World (Americas, Africa) through a study of diachronic and synchronic corpora. Special attention is paid, on the one hand, to the role of translation as a sight of language contact, and on the other hand, to register variation as an indicator of differential propagation of innovations appeared in Christian context.

  Le monde britannique (1815-1931) : rayonnement et transferts culturels

  Journée d'études organisée à l'université de Versailles-Saint-Quentin, par le Département d'histoire de l'Institut d'études culturelles (IEC) et le Centre d'histoire culturelle des sociétés contemporaines (CHCSC). Cette journée a pour objectif de traiter des échanges et transferts culturels propres au monde britannique, du XIXe siècle à l'entre-deux-guerres. Elle s'inscrit notamment dans le cadre de la préparation à la question d'histoire contemporaine du CAPES d'histoire-géographie et de l'agrégation d'histoire. Elle est ouverte à tous, enseignants et étudiants.
