  Paul Faucher (1898-1967) : l’édition au service de l’éducation nouvelle

  Co-organisé par Dynadiv (EA 4246. Université de Limoges), Civiic (EA 2657. Université de Rouen), Circeft (EA 4384. Université de Paris 8) avec le concours de l'association des Amis du Père Castor, ce séminaire souhaite revenir sur le parcours singulier de l'éditeur Paul Faucher alias le Père Castor. Son engagement en faveur de la presse enfantine sera, ici, interrogée au regard de son militantisme pédagogique en faveur de l'Éducation nouvelle. Les fonctions et les responsabilités qu'il eut au sein de ce mouvement interpellent sur le sens de ses actions et des liens qu'il va entretenir, durant toute sa carrière, avec les promoteurs d'une éducation plus attentive aux besoins des enfants.
