  Le séminaire-atelier « Histoire de l'informatique au CNAM » se propose d'étudier la légitimation des nouveaux savoirs techniques au cœur des institutions, en prenant l'exemple du développement de la discipline informatique au Conservatoire national des arts et métiers et dans d'autres établissements. Comment une jeune discipline scientifique devient-elle légitime dans l’espace académique ? Qu’en est-il si son projet entretient un lien fort au domaine des techniques et des applications industrielles et regroupe des objets hétérogènes ? Ces questions, engageant les sciences du numériques, peuvent être posées à la discipline informatique.
