  Pour une histoire de l'audiovisuel éducatif (1950-2007)

  La Bibliothèque nationale de France et le Centre national de documentation pédagogique organisent une journée d’étude pour explorer l’histoire et les archives de l’audiovisuel éducatif au cours du dernier demi-siècle.De l’héritage du cinéma éducateur à la création de La Cinquième, du studio transformé en salle de classe à la mise en ligne d’outils pour le cours, l’histoire de la télévision scolaire fait ressortir une formidable capacité d’invention de dispositifs et d’innovations pédagogiques.Partie intégrante de l’histoire du cinéma et des médias de l’après-guerre, l’audiovisuel éducatif a fait appel à nombre de jeunes talents, tant devant l’objectif que derrière la caméra.La journée fera alterner projection d'archives, interventions d'acteurs de la période et analyses universitaires.

  Culture of Memory in East Central Europe in the Late Middle Ages

  The University Library of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań will host the conference „Culture of memory in East Central Europe”. The conference will be held in the Research Center and Library of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Ciążeń, in the neighborhood of Poznań, with accommodations in the former Bishop’s Palace in Ciążeń.

  Helsinki conference panel 2008 : call for papers

  Call for papers for a panel on Ordinary Writings and Scribal Culture, at the Helsinki Congress of the ISSEI, 28 July-2 August 2008. This panel will be concerned with the nature, context and growth of personal written communication in western societies in the 19th & 20th centuries, with particular reference to the writings of European peasants and workers.
