  Call for papers for the 5th issue

  Call for papers for the fifth issue of FORMA (Journal of Comparated Studies. Art, Literature and Thought). This call is opened and addressed to scholars, PhD students or any researcher who holds at least a BA degree. The deadline for submissions will be October 16th 2011. In each journal, the works published will be ushered by some articles written by well-known prestigious scholars, as well as an interview to an intellectually remarkable person and some reviews of books which might be of academic interest and were published the year before.

  Le IVe congrès international de jeunes philosophes aura lieu du 15 au 18 novembre 2011 à l´Université Complutense de Madrid sous le titre « Paradoxes et abîmes contemporains ». Pour la première fois, il y aura une section de psychanalyse et politique. Date limite : 15 septembre.   Imitation et simulacre dans l'espace francophone

  Appel à propositions pour le congrès « Imitation et simulacre dans l'espace francophone », organisé par le département de philologie française et allemande de l'Université de Valladolid, Espagne, du 28 au 30 septembre 2011. Les participants sont appelés à prendre part à des tables rondes thématiques (voir détails dans l'annonce), pour lesquelles il leur est demandé d'envoyer, avant le 15 juin prochain, un résumé (800-1000 mots) de leur intervention, en précisant la table dans laquelle ils souhaitent intervenir. Un texte complet de type article sera publié ultérieurement pour chaque auteur. Les langues de travail et de communication sont le français et l'espagnol.

  Scholarship, prize and job offer - Thought

  First Award Competition of Bajo Palabra Journal of Philosophy for Young Researchers

  On the occasion of its 1st International Conference, the Bajo Palabra Philosophy Association, announces the “1st Award Competition of Bajo Palabra Journal of Philosophy for Young Researchers”. This competition is open to any researcher under 35 years old, who are registered in the Conference and who have submitted an unpublished work to one of the proposed branches. Several prizes will be awarded. Works will be selected by an international jury, based on their originality, academic rigor and accuracy. Each of the winners will receive a certificate from the Autonomous University of Madrid, the outstanding publication of the paper in a journal issue and the return of the registration fees.
