  Les séances de l'automne 2011 du séminaire sur « La réforme de l’État dans les pays post-communistes » porteront sur « L’implication de l'Union européenne en Géorgie » le jeudi 20 octobre, sur « L'affaire des « effacés » en Slovénie : un « nettoyage ethnique » qui ne dit pas son nom ? » le mercredi 16 novembre, et sur l'« Afghanistan : À la recherche d'une réforme de l’État ? » le 7 décembre.   Having in 2005 published a first issue on transformations in the police in post-communist Europe (http://pipss.revues.org/index271.html), Pipss would now like to return to the subject of the police in Russia and other ex-USSR republics, by presenting recent research from a sociological, anthropological and historical point of view on problems the institution is currently facing, with emphasis on corruption and police violence, sociology of police staff and an analysis of current reforms.
