  Digital Methods and Tools for Historical Research

  Title: Digital Methods and Tools for Historical Research. Presentation: With this initiative we intend to discuss the implications of using digital technologies in the production and dissemination of knowledge in History. We seek to understand how a set of digital methodologies has influenced historical research, to discuss its advantages and disadvantages, as well as to identify innovative ways of linking the future of the digital world to the study of the past.   The Analysis and Structuring of Historical Data

  Séminaire de recherche et d'épistémologie orienté vers le traitement de la donnée numérique en histoire et plus généralement en sciences sociales. L'objectif est de permettre aux étudiants et participants de comparer, ou d'identifier des méthodes qui sont susceptibles de leur être utiles, ainsi que de balayer les tendances actuelles de l'analyse de données. Y interviennent historiens, sociologues, archéologues, anthropologues, linguistes, informaticiens, mathématiciens... Les étudiants sont également invités à présenter leurs travaux et réflexions.
