  Pour ne pas tourner autour du pot ? La céramique dans les contextes archéologiques « mixtes »

  Questions de méthodologie, typologie et terminologie

  Cette rencontre, dans le cadre des activités du LAHM de Rennes 2, est organisée dans le but de rassembler des jeunes chercheurs autour des problématiques associées à la fouille et à l’étude du matériel céramique, dans le cadre particulier de contextes archéologiques « mixtes ». En effet, tout jeune chercheur qui débute une étude typo-chronologique se voit rapidement confronté à de nombreux questionnements, lesquels se trouvent amplifiés et complexifiés dans le cas de contextes historico-archéologiques associant au moins deux cultures matérielles différentes qui cohabitent, coexistent, à travers des modalités qui sont déjà ardemment discutées dans la recherche actuelle

  The Connected Past

  People, Networks and Complexity in Archaeology and History

  This conference will provide a platform for pioneering, multidisciplinary collaborative work in the field of network science. It aims to bring together the disparate international community of scholars working to develop network-based approaches and their application to the past and to provide a forum for the discussion of the most recent applications of the techniques, in order to ask what has been successful or unsuccessful, to foster cross-disciplinary collaborations and cooperation, and to stimulate debate about the application of network science within the disciplines of archaeology and history in particular, but also more broadly across the entire field.
