  Suffit-il de porter la critique sociale ou de se positionner d’un point de vue politique pour soutenir un comique politique ? Comment jauger le degré de subversion des spectacles qui ont des prétentions politiques ? Avec le développement du comique fun, le comique politique relève-t-il de l’utopie ? L’engagement des artistes ne se réduit-il qu’à une prétention non-réalisée ? Lors de séminaire de recherche et de cette journée d'études interdisciplinaires, rassemblant des chercheurs d'histoire, d'études théâtrales, de littérature, de sciences sociales et d'information-communication, nous nous intéresserons aux relations qu'entretiennent le comique et la politique.

  Les sociétés anciennes menaient-elles des politiques économiques ?

  De la politique économique à l'histoire économique de l'Antiquité : perspectives de recherche

  Scholars are used to study the ancient world, either through the “economic” category or the “politic” one, categories excluding one another. In the framework of a study day at the Ausonius Institute (Bordeaux), we have chosen to interrogate the relevance of the notion of economic policy, in order to analyse decisions made by the ancient societies about activities of material productions and goods exchanges. The study day will be concluded by a workshop intended for introducing new ways to study the ancient economic history.

  Economic Policies and Ancient Worlds

  UMR Ausonius economic history seminar 2012-2013

  Scholars are used to study the ancient world, either through the “economic” category or the “politic” one, categories excluding one another. In the framework of the economic history seminar of the Ausonius Institute (Bordeaux), we have chosen to interrogate the relevance of the notion of economic policy, in order to analyse decisions made by the ancient societies about activities of material productions and goods exchanges. Several meetings are planned in this goal : three introductory seminars, a study-day including a workshop in order to introduce new ways to study the ancient economic history.
