Call for papers - Ethnology, anthropology
Sexuality(ies) and citizenship(s)

The problem of ethnographic and anthropological methodology
Antropológicas Journal
The journal Antropológicas is accepting proposals for publication in its next issue that will address the problem of ethnographic and anthropological methodology. Manuscripts should be submitted to the page http://revistas.rcaap.pt/antropologicas/login by the 28th of February of 2013. Antropológicas’ number 13th will address the problem of ethnographic and anthropological methodology, because since the academic statement of its field of knowledge, ethnographic practice and anthropological writing had many debates, both for the originality of the methodology and the scientific accuracy required by their professionals. Among social sciences, anthropology was the one where theoretical discussion about its rationale demanded a greater critical capacity, by placing into question its methodological grounds.

I iberoamerican congress of therapeutic recreation in pediatric oncology
The recommendations of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology refer to the importance of investment in non-pharmacological approaches to handling pain and distress as important components of treatment. In this context, there are numerous benefits associated with the approach of Therapeutic Recreation strategies, innovative in Portuguese territory. Conceptually, the Therapeutic Recreation assumes promoting adaptation to changes that the patient faces in a context of hospitalization; it aims to restore the physical well-being, mental and emotional health of the patient, intending to full recovery. The Holistic perspective often results in a more positive set of experiences by the patient and family in the management of illness and hospitalization.

The main intention of the journal Sociologia is addressing the social issues of broad scope and according to various theoretical perspectives in order to promote the cultivation of Sociology in Portugal, either as systematic knowledge of social realities and as social and professional practice. Has sought to establish a dialogue between those who, within the University, promote scientific work and those who, like other professionals in sociology, deal with diverse activities in the global society, without forgetting those who labor in the other frames and that require a systematized knowledge of Portuguese social reality.
