  Henri Piéron (1881-1964) est le fondateur de la psychologie scientifique en France. Agrégé de philosophie, docteur en médecine, il a également été professeur au Collège de France. À l’occasion du cinquantenaire de sa disparition, l’Institut de psychologie et la bibliothèque Henri Piéron de l’université Paris Descartes lui consacrent une journée d’étude le 11 décembre 2014, centrée sur l’héritage scientifique et documentaire qu’ils ont reçu de lui.

  Historical Network Research

  This conference follows up the Future of Historical Network Research (HNR) Conference 2013 and aims to bring together scholars from all historical disciplines, sociologists, other social scientists, geographers and computer scientists to discuss the emerging field of historical Social Network Analysis. The concepts and methods of social network analysis in historical research are no longer merely used as metaphors but are increasingly applied in practice. With the increasing availability of both structured and unstructured digital data, we should be able to analyze complex phenomena. Historical SNA can help us to cope with the organization of this information and the reduction of complexity.

  The cluster of excellence (labex) Pasts in the present : history, heritage, memory opens one-year postdoctoral positions.The postdoctoral positions are inscribed in the themes and projects of the cluster. For each of these full-time contracts, the postdoctoral researcher is expected to develop during part of his/her working time (1/3 max) a personal research project related to the themes of the labex Pasts in the Present.

  Case studies 18th-20th centuries

  Le processus de production des mathématiques se doit d’être étudié en envisageant les mécanismes de circulation qui en sont partie intégrante et les diverses formes que celle-ci revêt. Les multiples échanges entre les divers acteurs (individuels, collectifs ou abstraits) impliqués dans le processus de production sont donc un élément essentiel à analyser. En première approche, on peut distinguer trois formes d’échanges : ceux relevant de l’oralité qui supposent la présence simultanée des protagonistes, les échanges épistolaires et la diffusion de textes imprimés tout en sachant que les trois formes s’entremêlent la plupart du temps. Nous proposons ainsi de consacrer ce volume à la notion de vecteur de circulation (dont les principaux exemples sont les journaux, livres, enseignements, conférences, académies, réunions, voyages, rencontres institutionnalisées ou non…).
