  CLI 2014

  CLI 2014 « Être en interaction » est la première édition du Workshop Junior organisé par les doctorants de l’école doctorale CLI (Cognition, langage, interaction) de l’université Paris 8 (Vincennes-Saint-Denis) et se déroulera les 16 et 17 octobre 2014 à l’université Paris 8. Les contributions sont ouvertes à tous les doctorants de France et à l'international. L’objectif du colloque sera de réfléchir de manière transdisciplinaire afin de permettre aux doctorants de faire le point sur l’état de l’art, de croiser les approches et/ou d’apporter des innovations. L’optique créatrice et volontairement croisée vise à favoriser l’éclectisme et l’ouverture, en confrontant la notion d’interaction aux théories, applications, innovations et usages actuels.

  First International Conference on the Science and Practice of Sports Refereeing

  The aim of this conference is to provide researchers studying sport refereeing with a discussion space in order to increase and improve the scientific network in this area. This network is then expected to answer new queries and to meet the practical challenges of sport refereeing. The scope of this conference includes a broad range of work which contributes to a greater understanding of refereeing performance and/or provides some directions for the development of this area. This conference will take place the 22-24 September 2014 in Clermont-Ferrand (France).

  Expressions of emotions : description and interpretation

  Emotions are multimodal responses. They manifest themselves in experience, physiology and behaviour – e.g. in social interaction. Emotional behaviours include the so-called expressions of emotions. Now, expressions are directly accessible to others, in contrast to private experience and the greatest part of physiology. On the one hand, expressions can be seen as symptomatic signs of an organic state or as conventional signs embedded in social interactions. On the other hand, they can be interpreted as acts that transform the situation, doing, as it were, a work on it. Considered as signs or acts, expressions of emotions can be studied experimentally in the laboratory or naturalistically in the field, as well as through a variety of corpora made of texts, videos, films, etc.
