  Polysémique, la notion de réseau renvoie à des significations et des applications plurielles. L'objectif de ce colloque sera de réfléchir à la problématisation et aux approches de l’analyse de l’objet réseau. Il s’agira ainsi, à partir des travaux de doctorants des disciplines inscrites en sciences humaines et sociales, de mettre en exergue les recherches actuelles à travers des méthodologies et des problématiques nouvelles.

  The experience of subterranean urban spaces or the ambivalence of an imagination

  L'IRPhil, Ville 10D, ExPVU et EVS vous proposent deux journées d’étude sur les dessous de la ville. Nous y explorerons l'habiter dans les mondes souterrains dans une perspective pluridisciplinaire associant aussi bien les dimensions représentationnelles qu'opérationnelles. Lors de la première journée d'étude qui se tiendra le 21 mars 2014, nous porterons d’abord notre attention sur la dimension imaginaire des mondes souterrains en interrogeant l'expérience et les représentations de ces espaces. Lors de la seconde journée d'étude à l’automne 2014, nous vous proposerons d'articuler dimensions imaginaire et opérationnelle pour explorer les dessous de la ville.

  The University in the City: University Spaces and Their Uses in Europe, 13th to 21st Centuries

  Since the 1960s, the abundant historiography dedicated to European universities has focused on the social, intellectual, and political history of these institutions. The topic of university spaces within the city has been relatively neglected. When addressed, research on this topic has consisted of monographs on a single city, country, and/or a given era. This conference aims to address the history of the urban integration of European universities since their inception (the early 13^th century), with priority given to the very long term and to comparative studies. By bringing together a series of research studies focused on a single theme, our ambition is to cast light on new perspectives.
