  Digital Mondays at the INHA

  Depuis plusieurs années déjà, par le biais de formations et de séminaires, l'Institut national d'histoire de l'art, via en particulier sa composante InVisu, s'est investi dans le numérique éditorial, en effectuant une veille active dans le domaine des humanités numériques, et plus spécialement pour ce qui touche au domaine visuel. De nombreux contacts et échanges sont régulièrement établis entre les différentes composantes de l'établissement et diverses équipes, tant en France qu'à l'étranger, sur des problématiques, des projets concernant les enjeux, les représentations, les aspects techniques, ou les questions juridiques liées à l'image, sous toutes ses formes. Le séminaire Les lundis numériques de l'INHA propose ainsi chaque 2^e lundi du mois à partir de septembre 2014 une séance ouverte au public où sont présentées et débattues ces thématiques et ces réalisations.

  New forms of scientific communication and research assessment : perspectives and recognition

  The aim of this conference is to think about the frontiers between forms of publication that are said to be legitimate or non legitimate, the new means of researchers’ expression and commitment and the way these publishing venues are taken into account in the research evaluation. In order to achieve this, we will study achievements, experiments or field analyses on overlay journals, open peer commentaries, research blogs in SSH or STM fields, scientific mediation through blogs or social networks, institutional or community evaluations, new metrics, unique researcher IDs, etc.

  By the book. The book and the study of its digital transformation

  This two-day conference brings together scholars from the field of publishing studies to examine key issues around the digital transformation of the book, as well as to discuss the developing field of publishing studies. Analysed will be a key set of questions. How is the landscape of the book in Europe changing due to digital transformation? How will terrestrial bookshops survive the growth of ebooks? Are there international forces for change which will affect all markets, and what domestic factors will prevail? What is the connection between the spread of English as the global lingua franca and the growth of digital publishing?
