  Humboldtsche Wissenschaft im Spannungsfeld zwischen Polen, Brasilien und Deutschland

  Ein transareales Symposion

  Die Tagung widmet sich Alexander von Humboldt sowie in einem weiten Sinne den Kontexten und Bedingungen der Humboldtschen Wissenschaft zwischen Polen, Brasilien und Deutschland. Der Name Humboldt steht hier sowohl für den gemeinsamen Gegenstand unterschiedlicher kulturwissenschaftlicher Arbeiten als auch für ein Modell transdisziplinär und transareal ausgerichteter Wissenschaft. Forschungskonstellationen, die sich der transarealen Herausforderung stellen, sind nicht nur auf die interkulturelle Kompetenz der einzelnen Forscherinnen und Forscher, sondern auch auf eine Zusammenarbeit von Institutionen angewiesen, die über den bilateralen Austausch hinaus geht.

  Sciences humaines et sociales, sciences du langage : méthodologies transversales

  L’objectif de ce colloque est d’interroger la sollicitation critique de méthodologies croisées entre les sciences humaines et sociales et les sciences du langage, de questionner les échanges et pratiques pluri-, inter- ou trans-disciplinaires à l'œuvre dans ces champs de recherche. Les contributions interrogeront la manière dont les objets de recherche de chacun.e.s ont nécessité la sollicitation de méthodologies transversales et dont ces méthodologies ont elles-mêmes participé à reconfigurer ces objets.

  Digital Humanities in Portugal: building bridges and breaking barriers in the digital age

  Discussion about the role of the Humanities in academia and society has a long history. The confluence of this debate with the changes brought about by digital technology is not new either: one cannot speak of "new technologies" for the Humanities when many researchers turned to digital methods at least four decades ago, in disciplines as diverse as Linguistics, History or Literary Studies. The Conference “Digital Humanities in Portugal” aims precisely to stimulate these intersections, opening up a forum for discussion and sharing of research results or ongoing projects in this field of knowledge.
