    Le programme LITEAU lance un appel à communications scientifiques dans le cadre de son prochain colloque qui aura lieu les 14 et 15 janvier 2016 à Brest, en partenariat avec l'Agence nationale de la recherche, l’Ifremer et le groupement d’intérêt scientifique HomMer. Le colloque aborde le renouvellement des modes de production de la connaissance, et en particulier les relations évolutives et complexes entre les dynamiques de l’observation de la mer et du littoral, et la recherche.

    Short-sea shipping: myth or future of regional transport

    Following the success of the first “International conference on Ports, Maritime transport and regional development”, the DEVPORT’s group organizes a second conference on “Short-Sea-Shipping”. The main goal is to compare different disciplinary approaches referring to this thematic. Transport policies, the funding and policies of European Union as well as technical and organizational innovations, create new opportunities for road transport and for the creation of new regional shipping services.

    Third conference of the International College of Territorial Sciences (CIST2016)

    The first two CIST conferences –Founding Territorial Sciences, in 2011, and Frontiers and Boundaries of Territorial Sciences, in 2014– addressed a number of theoretical and practical issues in the territorial sciences. The third edition of the conference, to be held in 2016, will continue this tradition by examining the expectations of citizens, inhabitants, and public and private bodies with respect to territories.

    Names of places, names of people: the question of sources

    Les recherches onomastiques, qu’elles concernent la toponymie ou l’anthroponymie, nécessitent de recourir à des sources diverses dont l’identification et l’exploitation posent un certain nombre de problèmes que le colloque se propose d’examiner. Nous entendons par source tout document contenant des données qui permettent d’étudier les noms propres, de l’Antiquité à nos jours. La thématique locale du colloque sera la toponymie urbaine de Paris et de sa banlieue.
