  La Fondation pour le lien social de la Croix-Rouge française organise le jeudi 1er octobre 2015 à la Cité Internationale Universitaire un colloque intitulé « Travail et lien social ». Travail et identité, mutations, ruptures professionnelles, souffrances, vulnérabilités, accompagnement, épanouissement… Telles sont les thématiques qui orienteront le débat pluridisciplinaire engagé par les nombreux spécialistes invités à intervenir lors de cette journée.

  Histoire des vieux, de la vieillesse et du vieillissement

  Nouvelles perspectives pour un nouveau champ de recherches ?

  L’intérêt en histoire pour la vieillesse, le vieillissement et les personnes âgées n’est pas neuf. Cependant, l’âge ne connaît pas, comme le genre ou la classe, d’engouement général et reste encore, pour une grande partie, un impensé de l’histoire sociale. Nous espérons au terme de cette journée pouvoir dégager une réflexion épistémologique sur les rapports entre vieillesse et histoire : la question du sens, de la cohérence et de la méthodologie d’une telle histoire.

  Work on screen: social memories and identities through cinema

  Since the early 20^th century, work in contemporary societies has suffered several processes of change, which, in the context of the current economic and employment crisis, demand equating the structuring of social identities that are built and modified through work. During this period, cinema has been a privileged vehicle for the creation and dissemination of representations on work and, therefore, the shaping of social memories. This international and multidisciplinary seminar aims at gathering and discussing contributions that analyse the social processes involved in the formation of work identities and representations through cinema. It welcomes papers that highlight the main continuities and discontinuities of work memory narratives from the early 20^th century to the present days, based on the analysis of specific films or bodies of films (both documentaries and fictions) and their reception.
