  Discovering the foundations of genre cinema: myths, archetypes, patterns and gestures

  Sous quelles modalités métaphoriques (strates ? Plis ? Palimpsestes ? Phasmes ?) le film de genre révèle-t-il l’apparition d’un semblable sous le différent ? Cette interrogation avait suscité notre première journée d’études (14 novembre 2014 : Dépasser le postmodernisme : la bâtardise comme horizon générique permanent). Loin d’être clôturée, elle appelait une seconde série de questionnements, portant sur la nature des images mêmes auxquelles le cinéma de genre se réfère ; si elle s’identifie au contexte mythique, elle implique l’évidence qu’une matrice pure d’où tout découlerait est impossible. Les mythes, comme les symboles desquels ils participent et dont ils sont une incarnation individuée (et, en cela, le cinéma exprime idéalement ce trait définitoire, lui qui méconnaît les types et n’expose, filmiquement, que des individus), partagent un réseau plus souterrain, dans lequel, sitôt qu’on s’est dégagé de la valeur socioculturelle (le mythe comme reflet d’une civilisation à un moment donné) qu’on veut leur accoler, recherche qui a son intérêt, mais nous semble insuffisante, en ce qu’elle consiste trop souvent à traduire par une équivalence ce qui se lit dans un bouillonnement, on croise plusieurs pistes – archétypes, schèmes, gestes.

  Quality Assurance and Value Management in Higher Education

  Quality et conduite de la valeur pour l'enseignement du supérieur (pédagogie, organisation etc.)

  This book will aim to provide identified and relevant proposals of good practices to promote the outcomes and favor the issues of Higher Education providers; proposals that integrate all stakeholders dialogic expectations (the clients: trainers, trainees, companies and society) in a resolutely innovative optical within the sense of sustainability and the EFQM Excellence model. Within theoretical results into perspective by the concrete practice work, clues will be presented to help quality through design process, pedagogy, organization and management for WIL in Higher Education. Value management principles and standards are considered as a global framework to develop such trainings to achieve success in a European Environment (European Standards and Guidelines) but not only: facing uncertainties and constraints. Obviously strategy, policy and leadership have to be considered.

  Disorder: social history in the punk/post punk movements

  This two-day international conference will gather scholars (historians, sociologists, musicologists...) and actors of the punk and post-punk scenes at the Université Paris Diderot and the University of Chicago Paris Centre, to discuss the meaning of the punk and post-punk movements, with the methods of social sciences. The conferences and workshops will discss networks, local scenes, time and place, urban space, communities, to analyse the ways in which these movements developed inside and against various historical environments, spanning from London in 1975 to China today, through the former Soviet bloc, the USA, Europe form South to North...
