  Female travellers in the Indian Ocean - 19th century-early 20th century

  This is a call for papers from the historians of the University of La Réunion, members of the Research centre for studies on Indian Ocean societies (Centre de recherches et d’études sur les Sociétés de l’océan Indien-CRESOI) and the Indian Ocean Research Unit/Societies and Spaces (Unité de recherches Océan Indien/Espaces et sociétés) with the aim of publishing a collective work on the theme of women travellers in the Indian Ocean during the late 19^th and the first half of the 20^th century.

  2nd study day of the DELI project

  La deuxième journée d’étude du projet DELI, qui se tiendra le 23 juin 2016 à l’Institut national d'histoire de l'art, se propose d’explorer la richesse des rapports entre bhakti et littérature en interrogeant les liens entre courants dévotionnels et production littéraire, le rôle de la littérature dans l’expression dévotionnelle et les différentes formes et adaptations de la littérature de bhakti au cours des siècles, dans la diversité des situations régionales et linguistiques.
