  La mondialisation de la santé : savoirs, pratiques, politique

  Une école thématique interdisciplinaire de recherche intitulée « La mondialisation de la santé : savoirs, pratiques, politiques » se déroulera à Marseille du 23 au 27 octobre 2017. Celle-ci combinera la réflexion sur des thématiques nouvelles ou émergentes, la formation des jeunes chercheurs (doctorants et post-doctorants) et le développement des échanges entre tous ceux qui au sein de PSL travaillent sur les questions de santé mondialisée de façon plus ou moins isolée. Elle interrogera le phénomène contemporain de « santé globale » avec ses acteurs, ses cibles, ses outils et pratiques spécifiques d’intervention dans une perspective qui tienne compte de l’inscription de ces processus dans une durée qui n’est pas seulement celle associée aux constructions impériales et postcoloniales.

  Archives, the Digital Turn and Governance in Africa

  “History in Africa” Journal

  This featured section of History in Africa will address the wave of digitisation of archives in Africa over the last fifteen years. With the rise of information technologies, an increasing part of public – and to some extent private - African archives are being digitised and made accessible on the internet. This wave of digitisation is usually seen as a progress with the help of ambitious initiatives applying new technologies to cultural heritage of humanity such as the rescue of the manuscripts of Timbuktu or the Endangered Archives programme at the British Library. Yet as much as these new technologies raise enthusiasm, they also prompt discussions amongst researchers and archivists, which go from intellectual property to sovereignty and governance.

  Pierre Clastres : d’une ethnologie de terrain à une anthropologie du pouvoir

  À l’occasion des 40 ans de sa disparition, Anamnèse a décidé de rendre hommage à Pierre Clastres. Anthropologue spécialiste de l’Amérique du Sud (Paraguay, Brésil) formé dans la tradition structuraliste par Claude Lévi-Strauss lui-même, Pierre Clastres a pris ses distances avec cette tradition en proposant une épistémologie originale et complexe capable de renouveler la discipline. Ce colloque vise à réaffirmer l’importance des apports de Pierre Clastres, en présentant des travaux revisitant ses recherches ethnologiques, ses réflexions sur la chefferie et l’État, ou en interrogeant ses hypothèses sur la violence.

  The program, lead by the CNRS (France) and funded by the European Union Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/20072013) under grant agreement n° 319974 (Interco-SSH) is coordinated by Gisèle Sapiro (CNRS, EHESS, Cessp). It gathers seven partner institutions: CNRS, France; Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna, Italy; Cambridge University, UK; Erasmus University Rotterdam, Pays Bas; University of Graz, Austria; John Wesley Theological College, Hungary; National Scientific and Technical Research Council, Argentina.
