    Formal and informal networks of migrant women and men in settlement process (14th-19th centuries)

    Panel at the European Social Science History Conference (ESSHC)

    This panel aims to study settlement patterns of migrants, according to a gendered approach. It aims to bring together scholars working on migration and settlement dynamics, by focusing on the extension and quality of relationships that newcomers could develop in the new environment and by highlighting differences between men and women. In addition it aims to investigate how these ties influenced, successfully or not, their settlement process: the daily life, the research of a job or a house, the access to credit networks, to poor relief or to other urban resources etc...

    CIDEHUS - Colecção Biblioteca: Estudos & Colóquios

    CIDEHUS has one book collections with peer-review: Biblioteca: Estudos & Colóquios which aims to publish monographies on CIDEHUS site on the platform OpenEditionBooks. This collection has an international scientific committee and an editorial committee, as well as an individual assistant for the edition process. Once a year, CIDEHUS opens a call for book proposals to general academic community and not only to the members of our research center.

    The history of cooperation - experiences and practices

    Le centre Georges Chevrier de l'université de Bourgogne organise trois journées d'études entre juin 2017 et février 2018, autour des pratiques et des expériences des entreprises coopératives, qui se tiendront à Dijon et à Paris. Centrées autour de trois thèmes, le travail, la modernisation et les conditions de l'échec, ces journées se veulent l'occasion de réfléchir aux pratiques quotidiennes des coopérateurs, dans une forme d'organisation économique qui se définit comme alternative. Nous sollicitons des contributions issues de l'étude de diverses aires géographiques, du XIXe siècle jusqu'à la période très récente.
