  A época do espaço. Estado e novas perspetivas

  Ao longo da segunda metade do século XX, houve uma reorientação do olhar humano e do interesse científico, o que aconteceu para observar e serem observado mais no espaço do que no tempo, como aconteceu anteriormente. En los últimos años, ha crecido enormemente el interés por el estudio de las creaciones artísticas, especialmente literarias, poniendo el foco en la simbología o la relevancia de los lugares. El crecimiento de disciplinas como las mencionadas puede ser percibido a través de su contacto con otras disciplinas emergentes, como las humanidades digitales, también de reciente aparición. La simbiosis entre ellas ha dado lugar a las humanidades espaciales o al deep mapping, entre otras. Cómo han evolucionado estas teorías en los últimos años, qué ha cambiado en nuestra concepción del término o cómo vivimos o nos relacionamos con el territorio?

  Envisioning Latin America: Power and Representation in audiovisual (re)productions

  Forma Revista d'Estudis Comparatius. Art, Literatura, Pensament

  This issue seeks to critically address power structures in audiovisual (re)productions in and from Latin America and discuss how these play a role in the societal construction and representation of individual and collective identities, the ‘us’ and the ‘other’. By doing so, it aims at understanding how these representations – and broader discourses associated therewith – can be critically examined through media productions (cinema, television, radio, photography etc.) and their use as historical sources.

Le but est de fournir une occasion inégalée de lier et démontrer la contribution de la promotion de la santé à l'accomplissement des objectifs de développement durable (ODD) et de reconnaître la manière dont les ODD contribuent aux améliorations de la santé et du bien-être.

  V Congresso Internacional de Mitocrítica "Mito e Criação Audiovisual"

  Le V Congrès International de Mythocritique “Mythe et création audiovisuelle” est une initiative du Programme de Recherche Acis&Galatea, financé par la Communauté de Madrid et le Fonds Social Européen. Le Congrès s’organisera au tour de 4 sièges selon le thème: “Mythes germaniques” à l´université de Alcalá, “Mythes classiques” à l´université Autónoma, “Mythes bibliques” à l´université Francisco de Vitoria et “Mythes modernes” à l´université Complutense. Les chercheurs peuvent envoyer leur proposition de communication à un des 4 sièges. Leur objectif consistera à analyser le rôle du cinéma, les séries télévisées, les jeux vidéo dans la création et adaptation des mythes anciens, médiévaux et modernes et notre monde contemporain.

  The editors are looking for articles, translations, interviews as well as book or performance reviews. América Crítica is a peer reviewed, biannual journal published by CISAP (Centro Interdipartimentale di Studi sull’America Pluriversale) at the University of Cagliari, Italy. It publishes unsolicited articles related to any area of American Studies, Latin American Studies and Hemispheric American Studies (literature, history, linguistics, arts, cultural studies, film studies, politics, social sciences and anthropology). It especially welcomes contributions focusing on a comparative approach, native and/or minority cultures in the Americas, American urban cultures, and marginal and contested cultures and identities in the Americas.

  What remains of postmodernity?

  Since the 70s, the word postmodernity has articulated a tendency, a state of mind, and a condition that resists conceptualization or complete definition. Although the intellectual community has agreed to situate J. F. Lyotard and his key work, The Postmodern condition (1979), as the origin of the debate on this phenomenon, the truth is that the literary theorist Ihab Hassan had already used the word systematically in 1971. Since that date, the notion has spread across the fields of Literature, Architecture, Visual Arts, and the Social Sciences. These are two of the problems that one faces when approaching the surface of the postmodern phenomenon: its lack of definition and its ambiguous periodization.

  Artistic production in the transnational cultural networks

  Simultaneous geographies and temporalities

  Boletín de Arte calls to send works on artistic production in the transnational cultural networks. Simultaneous geographies and temporalities. In the field of academic production and in the exhibition world there have been, in the last years, several historiographic reconsiderations that, backed by postcolonial and decolonial studies and visual culture, and with the objective of making an horizontal history of art, aim to question the hierarchical relations between the artistic production centers and to foster pluralisms and transnational networks of artistic and intellectual exchange.Works that address specific problems and cases related to the suggested topic, appealing to the contributions of the mentioned perspectives will be received for the section ARTICLES. Proposals that discuss the epistemological and methodological scope of these perspectives will be received for the section APPROACHES.
