O colóquio O Gesto e a Crença, organizado no âmbito das atividades do grupo Sociabilidades e Práticas Religiosas (CITCEM), pretende ser uma plataforma de debate internacional e interdisciplinar para jovens investigadores que desenvolvam o seu trabalho no âmbito dos Estudos de Religião. Com o intuito de difundir novas perspetivas sobre as diversas vivências do religioso, este colóquio encontra-se aberto a contributos das mais diversas áreas das Ciências Sociais e Humanas, de modo a desenvolver campos de análise plurais e comparativos.

Artistic theories and practices in the academic context - polarisation and contaminations
La multiplication de cours de pós-graduação (Master, Doctorat et Post-doctorat) dans le champ de l’art au Brésil ces dernières dix années interroge davantage l’interaction entre théories et pratiques dans le contexte académique. La présence de disciplines dans lesquelles s’inscrivent une pratique artistique – arts visuels, musique, danse, théâtre, cinéma, littérature, entre autres – interpelle le binarisme entre art et science et propose des nouvelles formes de perceptions de l’objet d’étude, ainsi que des nouveaux critères d’argumentation et d’évaluation de recherche académique. Comment une pratique artistique peut devenir un objet de recherche académique ? Comment gérer la particularité de ces recherches e de ses résultats ? Quelles sont les stratégies utilisées pour outrepasser les binarismes imposés par les modèles scientifiques tout en emphatisant le pouvoir réflexif de l’art et l’imminente nécessité de créativité pour la formulation théorique ?

A path in which work – as a constitutive element of our species – plays a decisive role in these actions. How has cooperation been taking place in formal and informal work activities? How have the current modes of management and their evaluation and training systems contributed to the construction or weakening of cooperative acts at work? What are the requirements to build cooperation?

30 anos de construção da cena brasileira moderna (1948-1978)
Revista Sala Preta número 18 – Volume 2/2018
Gostaríamos de destacar neste número estudos sobre os processos artísticos que se empenharam na construção de uma moderna cena no Brasil com interesse na pesquisa de formas novas de representação da sociedade brasileira. Ainda que a recorte temporal proposto faça menção a dois momentos do teatro em São Paulo, a criação do Teatro Brasileiro de Comédia (TBC), em 1948, e a estreia do espetáculo Macunaíma, em 1978, espera-se poder contar com diversos focos analíticos do tema e perspectivas que atendam à diversidade da ideia de nacional, com exame das experiências de modernização nos estados e desenvolvimentos regionais. Os estudos propostos devem ter como questão o trabalho de encenação em seu sentido conceitual, crítico e prático, o que inclui o conjunto dos elementos de produção do espetáculo, métodos de ensaio, organização do trabalho, relação com atuação, cenografia, iluminação, escrita cênica em tensão com a dramatúrgica etc.

A educação e os sentidos de futuro em contextos de incertezas no Brasil e em Portugal

Vivemos um tempo duro e de incertezas. Porém, o texto de Galeano nos provoca a pensar que é um tempo que se abre para novas expectativas para se pensar a educação, para continuar a produzir outros modos de olhar e escutar, de compreender e interpretar em outras direções e é tempo de novas (re)construções. Para escapar ou amenizar as incertezas desse tempo é preciso produzir conhecimento crítico que indague o cotidiano e provoque reflexões e participações ativas. No sentido de Galeano e Freire, é preciso refletir, compreender e fazer para mudar o que somos e para transformarmos o mundo.

Against this background, this special session aims to unpack the long-lasting influence of academic mobility in urban metabolism and regeneration processes. From larger to smaller cities and universities, how can we make use of the principles of a circular economy to understand the effects, strengths and limits of academic mobility in regional development? As academic mobility is increasing worldwide, this special session looks at the particular challenges it raises for a sustainable future.

2nd Congress International of Social Networks
Social networks occupy today an unprecedented centrality in developed societies. They are one of the most important components in the structure of social relations between people and organizations, through which they share values, expectations, interests and an immensity of flows that place them at a high level of complexity. Knowing and understanding this complexity, as well as the social networks and the multiplicity of configurations that are inherent to them, is one of the biggest challenges of our times. Today, talking about social networks, puts us on a new paradigm in the social sciences. In the dynamics of social relations, the actors involved in it, develop their interactions driven by diverse logics and strategies of action, putting challenges in their analysis and understanding to social intervenors and the academic community. It is in this context that the 2nd edition of CIReS.

In different moments of his work, Walter Benjamin reflects upon the question of technology and related issues such as work as the mediation between man and nature, conducting his critical analysis of progress. He says: “What’s the idea? to speak of progress to a world sinking into the rigidity of death. (...) The concept of progress must be grounded in the idea of catastrophe. That things are 'status quo' is the catastrophe. Depuis l’aube de la création esthétique, dont la scène primitive a lieu dans les cavernes préhistoriques, l’imaginaire humain a incorporé la condition animale, sous ses différentes modalités et ses multiples points de vue. Au long des siècles, il révèle la présence constante et proéminente de la figure du chien, dont les liens affectifs avec l’humain sont attestés par les découvertes archéologiques préhistoriques, depuis le jour où les premiers loups ou chacals se sont approchés des hommes chasseurs-collecteurs. Il est parfaitement possible de suivre, au long des siècles, l’évolution de la pensée humaine et des mentalités, par l’observation des modalités de figuration du chien non seulement dans les mythes, les légendes, les fables, les églogues, les lais, les contes, les romans, la bande dessinée, les dessins animés, le cinéma, mais aussi dans tout type de discours (philosophique, théologique, scientifique, etc).
