  میادین صعبة الولوج و مواضیع ذات حساسیة : القیام بالأبحاث المیدانیة في المغرب العربي و الشرق الأوسط

  Les difficultés « du terrain » se trouvent de plus en plus au centre des préoccupations de la recherche en sciences sociales. Les cas extrêmes, comme la guerre et le terrorisme, annoncent même sa possible disparition. Mais se limiter à ces cas de figure, c’est laisser de côté un grand nombre de sujets autrement plus complexes et plus difficiles. Ce colloque souhaite les aborder en focalisant sur le Maghreb et le Moyen-Orient.

  Industrial citizenship

  Perspectives from the South and North

  The recent proliferation of workers' protests throughout the world reminds us of the importance, for political studies, of observing workplaces. In this conference, we propose to revisit industrial citizenship in a transversal manner through local empirical studies that document how the organization of labour influences collective practices. Our goal is to bring together scholars from different disciplinary, geographic and historical backgrounds and perspectives. Emphasis will be placed on approaches that seek to situate workers' actions in thick descriptions of local social and political relations. Papers should seek to account for the inclusion of forms of industrial citizenship in various configurations, beyond the sole labour organizations: the legal context, economic relations, social relations of domination inside and outside the factory, the modes of political enunciation invented or reappropriated by workers.
