Gregorian reform, a "total revolution"?
Comparative state of research in Francophone and Germanophone spaces
Cet appel à communications est dédié à un atelier de jeunes chercheurs dont l'objectif sera de faire un état des lieux de la recherche concernant la question de la réforme grégorienne, de sa définition et de la compréhension de ses enjeux, dans les espaces francophones et germanophones, dans une démarche non seulement comparatiste, mais aussi transdisciplinaire, puisqu'il s'agira d'interroger l'état de la question aussi bien en histoire politique qu'en histoire du droit, en histoire de l'art qu'en théologie, par exemple. Cet atelier de jeunes chercheurs est organisé par Tristan Martine (université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, CIHAM-UMR 5648) et Jérémy Winandy (universität Hamburg).

V International Conference on Mythcriticism
The V International Conference on Mythcriticism “Myth and Audiovisual Creation” will analyze the impact of myth in audiovisual creation from 1900 to the present day. The Conference will be organized in four universities during two weeks.The Conference will be divided into 4 venues according to different themes: "Germanic Myths" in the University of Alcalá, "Classical Myths" in the University Autónoma, "Biblical Myths" in the University Francisco de Vitoria and "Modern Myths" in the University Complutense. Researchers can send to one of their 4 venues their abstracts. They will have to analyze the relevance of film, TV series and video games in the creation and modification of old, medieval and modern myths to our contemporary world.

Springtime Academy 2018
The 16th AnnualSpringtime Academy (École de printemps d’histoire de l’art) organized by the International Consortium on Art Historywill take place from June 18–23, 2018, at the Université Paris Nanterre, on the theme “Art and Politics,” reflecting the fiftieth anniversary of the events of May 1968. This weeklong program will bring together students at the masters, doctoral, and post-doctoral levels from various disciplines and specializations to share research, working methods and experience in an international and interdisciplinary dialogue with advanced scholars and professionals.
