  Le patrimoine industriel européen de la première guerre mondiale

  The First World War marked the history of Europe. It has been characterized by an unprecedented effort in industrial production, which today constitutes a common European heritage. The industrial heritage of the First World War, however, seems to be invisible: it is not identified or even defined as such, whereas this war was characterized by the massive use of industrial technology, both in the field of the production of weapons, aircraft and chemicals for military purposes as well as in the civil sector, particularly for agri-food production. It is interesting to note that conversely, the industrial heritage of the Reconstruction could be the subject of work. The organization of a European symposium, the first on this theme, is essential in order to establish an inventory of the material traces that still exist today and to draw the attention of the public authorities to the need to ensure their conservation.

  Espace architectural européen : échanges, circulations et transferts culturels

  Journée d’études doctorales annuelle en histoire de l’architecture de l’Université Paris 1

  En Europe, la circulation des savoirs faire et des idées, déjà très intense au cours du Moyen Âge, ne cesse de s’accentuer au fil des siècles. Ce processus identifié en tant que « transferts culturels » à la fin du XX^e siècle, participe dès lors activement à l’émergence progressive de cultures architecturales partagées, évoluant au gré de phénomènes de métissage et d’hybridation. Il semble ainsi possible de définir un « espace européen de l’architecture », en lien avec ces échanges intensifs au sein du continent.

  L’unité de recherche Histoire et critique des arts (EA1279) de l'Université Rennes 2 recrute un postdoctorant, dans le cadre du projet de recherche : Mapping Architectural Criticism. La critique architecturale, cartographies intellectuelle et matérielle, sous la direction d'Hélène Jannière, Professeur d’histoire de l’architecture contemporaine. Le contrat proposé est d'une durée de 18 mois, temps plein, à partir du 1er mars 2018.
