  Haitian Oraliture: Identity(ies), Structure(s), Memory(ies) and Representations through the Prism of Human and Social Sciences

  In tribute to Maurice Sixto on the occasion of the centenary of his birth

  This conference is an opportunity to pay tribute to Maurice Sixto, for his significant lodyans. The year 2019 is indeed the centenary of birth of this master of the spoken word, born in May 1919, and the 35^thanniversary of his passing, which occurred in May 1984. The contemporaneous legacy of Maurice Sixto encompasses various categories of lodyanseurs, among whom former cultural colleagues, talented impersonators, original interpreters and contemporaneous storytellers who, directly or indirectly, recognize themselves through the influence of the master. This event will be the occasion to discuss the multidimensional, psycho-sociological, didactic and aesthetic value of Sixto’s work.

  "I" against the world - the construction of the subject in hostile environments

  Créé en 2014, le Réseau International de sociologie clinique (RISC) rassemble une quinzaine de pays d’Europe et d’Amérique, des chercheur-e-s et praticien-ne-s, pour la recherche, l’intervention, des publications et l’organisation de différents évènements scientifiques. Le prochain colloque du RISC aura lieu en Haïti (10-12 Avril 2019), autour du thème Dire « je » dans un monde qui met hors-jeu : la construction du sujet dans un contexte hostile. Il analysera les conditions d’existence du sujet quand il est confronté à un environnement social délétère, en Haïti ou dans d’autres pays.

  Managing the social welfare on a national scale: actors, territories, projects and challenges

  This international conference organized by the research Center LAMBES (Laboratoire médecine, éthique et société) and the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy and medical Biology will be the first of its kind specifically dedicated, within the State University of Haiti, to the social protection system. It is intended to provide reflexion and avenues and ways of response from the analysis of the movement and meanderings of our social protection system. It is a multidisciplinary conference essentially theoretical and pragmatic at the same time: understanding to take appropriate action.
