Changes to forestry in the framework of global change
Il s’agira de croiser les approches disciplinaires, en considérant le point de vue de chercheurs de sciences humaines et sociales autant que de sciences de la vie et de la terre, tout en prenant en compte le regard et les attentes des gestionnaires et acteurs locaux de la Région Centre-Val de Loire. Les interventions porteront notamment sur le territoire national mais également des terrains étrangers, le Gabon et le Viêt Nam), qui permettront une mise en perspective. La forêt sera ainsi questionnée dans sa globalité, en considérant ses composantes biophysiques autant qu’anthropiques, à des échelles emboîtées, avec l’objectif de croiser les différentes approches, terrains et travaux.

How do usages, management options and social practices interact with wildlife in the forest?
During this workshop, we will deal with the forest, a part of our landscapes and a privileged place of interactions between nature and society, between man and wildlife. We will discuss on the past footprint of our activities, their current determinants and their challenges, as well as how forests and associated habitats might change. To achieve that task, we will favour pluridisciplinary approaches taking into account wildlife and forest ecology, their social representations and the tourist attendance associated with these natural and cultural heritages.
