  Jeux et enjeux de la catégorisation : entre dénomination, discours social et développement

  Perçue comme une activité cognitive de représentation, la catégorisation a depuis longtemps focalisé les travaux de psychologues, sociologues, linguistes, philosophes, etc. Des catégories naturelles aux catégories sociales en passant par les catégories commerciales et professionnelles, la représentation repose sur une dynamique de mise en groupe des entités.  Ces groupes se lient et se délient au gré des pratiques dénominationnelles et discursives.

  Christianity, language contact, language change

  The present workshop addresses questions of language contact and language change, as well as language standardization in the Christian context both in Europe and in the New World (Americas, Africa) through a study of diachronic and synchronic corpora. Special attention is paid, on the one hand, to the role of translation as a sight of language contact, and on the other hand, to register variation as an indicator of differential propagation of innovations appeared in Christian context.
