  Études sinophones en Europe et Amérique

  Research Center for Chinese Cultural Subjectivity in Taiwan (CCS) will be holding 2019 “Sinophone Studies in Europe and the Americas”(SEA) International Young Scholars Conference at National Chengchi University, Taiwan, November 19-21, 2019. The conference invites both critical scholarship and creative writing in various fields of Sinophone studies.

  Music, Tradition and Creativity in the Digital Era

  New Ethnomusicological Perspectives From the Global South

  This Symposium will explore how digital media and new technologies have affected the ways through which musicians, producers and researchers experiment and engage with "traditional" musical forms, in Colombia and in other parts of the world. The participants are invited to share their research results and methodological experimentations in the field of applied ethnomusicology, music pedagogy, performance, digital audio production or digital humanities about the study of the impact of digital technologies about current musical practices. This Symposium will also include the presence of several local musicians and producers who will conduct workshops on "traditional" Colombian music and music from other countries of the global South.

  A era do espaço. Estado e novas perspectivas

  Os próximos dias 8, 9 e 10 de abril ir-se-á na Universidade de Santiago de Compostela a conferência internacional "A era do espaço. Estado e novas perspectivas", onde se reunirão pesquisadores de todo o mundo para debaterem sobre o spatial turn das humanidades na segunda metade do século passado. Este evento interdisciplinar reunirá geógrafos, filólogos, historiadores, filósofos e outras disciplinas relacionadas para rever o estado atual das spatial humanities, partilhar diferentes abordagens e métodos de pesquisa e debater sobre o seu futuro.
