  From West to East: Metamorphoses of Discourses in Europe

  Our conference aims at questioning the current meanings of the discourses on West-East relationship in the European Union, as well as its transformation. Its scientific interest o aims to revisit the central theme of the European idea which has both brought together and divided for a number of centuries, the different regions of Europe, making possible the European construction of present days. The conference is searching for interdisciplinary within the large field of social sciences and humanities.

  Silences/Alternative formulations/Overstatement

  Les débats porteront sur diverses théories de l’expression et de l’interprétation du sens et de la signification en langue et en discours (langues/discours de spécialité, belles lettres, discours artistique), ainsi que sur la problématique (discursive) de leur reformulation (paraphrase ou : traduction intralinguale et traduction interlinguale, voire intersémiotique comprise) et sur celle (métalinguistique) de leur définition (dimensions lexicographique et terminologique comprises).
