  Santé à la mine

  Acteurs et systèmes de soins

  Le Centre historique minier organise un colloque international Santé à la mine. Acteurs et systèmes de soins, les 4 et 5 avril 2019 à Lewarde (France). Les enjeux de santé liés aux mondes miniers ont en effet fait l’objet ces dernières années d’une attention renouvelée de la part de l’histoire et des sciences sociales : c’est en particulier le cas de la silicose. Ils constituent en même temps, à l’échelle mondiale, autant de questions très contemporaines, incontestables enjeux d’avenir. Ce colloque rassemblera 25 intervenants français et étrangers et aura pour objectif de proposer des communications sur la législation, la définition de la maladie, les outils et acteurs des politiques sanitaires ou encore les mobilisations sur les questions de la santé.

  Rethinking the Technical and the Human in Global Connectivity

  We invite contributions for our Workshop “Rethinking the Technical and the Human in Global Connectivity”, happening at Humboldt University Berlin, 24-25 May 2019. The materiality of technologies and infrastructures is significant; however, we think their impact on and interaction with societies has to be analysed in a global dimension as well. We hope to establish this approach for the broader field of African History, reacting and bringing attention to a growing interest in these questions indicated in a number of recently developed research projects and publications.
