Ce colloque international a pour but d’examiner l’impact de la vie de cour sur le mariage et la vie conjugale, en envisageant une chronologie longue allant du Moyen Âge au XIX^e siècle. La réflexion portera principalement sur trois axes : l’acte de mariage (négociations, stratégies matrimoniales, cérémonies, contrats), la vie conjugale confrontée aux impératifs de la vie de cour, les extraconjugalités (célibat, sexualités, adultère, veuvage).

Mais cet exclusif commercial était-il possible et véritablement souhaité ? La contrebande n'était-elle pas systèmatique ? On souhaite réunir des spécialistes en histoire maritime de cette géographique afin d'aborder de manière neuve les réseaux commerciaux à l'échelle régionale.

L'objectif de ce colloque est de penser une histoire globale de l'économie sociale et solidaire (ESS), tout en mettant en valeur ses spécificités, sources et méthodes. Il invite à revisiter l'histoire de l'économie sociale et solidaire (ESS) à travers deux axes thématiques principaux : la place de l'ESS dans l'historiographie et le rôle de ses études dans l'articulation des théories d'économie politique aux pratiques sociales ; Les liens entre l'ESS et les institutions politiques, syndicales et religieuses qui oscillent entre conflits, reconnaissance et banalisation.

State-building, social movements and political economy

Modernity was marked by the edification of increasingly complex and sophisticated state system, committed to governing territories and populations, through a multiplicity of administrative, fiscal, police and judicial networks. At the same time, new mechanisms for legitimizing political power emerged, based on the building of a public sphere and the dissemination of different forms of collective organization and mobilization: from associations to petitions, from political demonstrations to strikes and riots. Finally, a new regime of production and consumption was created in the form of a Political Economy directed to the creation of markets, the movement of goods and the accumulation of capital.

The Art Market Dictionary

De Gruyter's

De Gruyter and the team of the Art Market Dictionary (AMD) are currently looking for authors interested in contributing to their encyclopedia project. The AMD is the first reference work providing encompassing information on commercial art galleries, dealers, auction houses, fairs and advisers in Europe, the USA and Canada in the 20th and 21st centuries. Due to appear in 2020, it will be published in print and as an online searchable database. It is edited by Johannes Nathan and supported by a number of specialized institutions such as the Getty Research Institute, the Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte, or the Archives of American Art.
