  Investigating professional relations

  Cette journée d’étude entend valoriser des terrains d’enquête pluriels afin d’insister sur la diversité des objets, méthodologies et angles d’approche que recouvre le domaine élargi des relations professionnelles. Elle a pour objectif d’appréhender le renouvellement et la diversification de l’étude des acteurs traditionnels que sont les syndicats, les employeur·e·s et l’État en insistant sur les variations d’échelle, l’intérêt pour les trajectoires et les pratiques militantes ou bien l’intersectionnalité des rapports de domination qui traversent les organisations et qu’elles reproduisent, sinon renforcent.

  Philosophy, History and Sociology of Artificial Intelligence

  The purpose of this seminar is to position itself at the center of the scientific, epistemological, technological and societal transformations that the developments of artificial intelligence engage. The seminar we propose therefore aims to study AI in its technological / scientific duality, through its historical, philosophical, epistemological, ethical and sociological aspects. In order to understand the modern stakes of this discipline, we will consider it here as defined in its historicity, but also as a scientific tool, tool of knowledge and transformation of knowledge, of understanding, finally as a socio-cultural entity in interaction with its environment, whether it is human or non-human.

  Sociologie du travail journal young authors' award

  La revue Sociologie du travail décerne annuellement un prix du jeune auteur, qui récompense un à trois articles de recherche originaux. Les articles soumis doivent avoir été rédigés par un·e doctorant·e ou un·e jeune chercheur·e ayant moins de 31 ans à la date limite de dépôt des candidatures. Les articles proposés défendent une ou deux idées, utilisent des auteurs précis, listés en bibliographie, et discutent la littérature dans le domaine. Ni note critique, ni revue de littérature, ils se fondent sur des données de terrain quantitatives ou qualitatives, exposent les procédures d’enquête, citent les matériaux empiriques utilisés (entretiens, analyses statistiques, graphiques, etc.).

  Care, inequalities, and policies in the South

  Revue internationale des études du développement

  The aim of this issue is, in a journal focused on development, to gather works presenting the issue of care, which lies at the intersection of the division of labor in care (taken in its broad acception, including paid and unpaid work and taking into account its intrinsic complexity) and of the social organization of care in countries of the South. This issue will favor an interdisciplinary approach. Authors from all the social and human sciences may submit papers. Authors should explore care work and social organization through local, national, international, and transnational analyses. The contextualization of empirical studies and original corpuses, and the combination of a sound theoretical approach and fieldwork are expected.

  Work is neither a subject omitted by the research on the Horn of Africa, however this is nor an object of study in its own right. Scholars generally subordinate analysis of work to analysis of development. On the one hand this concept of development is linked with an optimistic vision which highlights the successes of the developmental State implemented in Ethiopia. On the other hand, development is associated to a pessimistic view of the country, focused on poverty reduction.

  Dans la continuité des deux premières journées d’études du réseau des jeunes chercheur·e·s du labortaoire d'excellence Industries culturelles et création artistique (ICCA), cette troisième édition propose un espace de discussion et de réflexion autour, cette fois-ci, des notions de reconnaissance, notoriété et consécration elles-mêmes au cœur de l’organisation du réseau. Son objectif est de permettre aux jeunes chercheur·e·s de se retrouver et de questionner un sujet transversal, tant au niveau des disciplines et des méthodologies dans lesquelles ils s’inscrivent, que des secteurs étudiés.
