  The Illuminated Legal Manuscript: Production, Circulation and Use in Medieval Europe

  International Workshop of the research team Ius Illuminatum

  The workshop has the aim of giving an overview of the progress of research regarding illuminated legal manuscripts in Europe with the aim of carrying out a reflection on the methodological implications and on the practical and theoretical challenges that such research entails. During the Workshop, different case of study related to some regions of the European territory will be analyzed with a particular attention to what concerns the production, use and circulation of the different manuscripts examined. The Workshop also aims to question the potential offered by new technologies and the interdisciplinary approach in the study of the illuminated legal manuscript in order to overcome the limits and open up innovative and fruitful research paths.

  Atelier doctoral du Groupe transversal usages de l’histoire et devenirs urbains du Labex Futurs urbains

  Ces dernières années, de nombreux mouvements politiques et sociaux se sont structurés autour de la question des communs ou du commun, à l’image du « mouvement des places » à partir de 2011, en Tunisie, en Espagne, en Grèce, aux États-Unis ou en Turquie. La mobilisation de ces notions dans le champ de l’action politique a renouvelé l’attention des chercheurs : économistes, sociologues, politologues, géographes, urbanistes et historiens, entre autre. Nous souhaitons, lors de cet atelier doctoral, questionner cette généalogie de la recherche sur le/les commun(s) en études urbaines en réunissant les représentants de ces différentes disciplines des sciences humaines et sociales. Nous aimerions, par ce dialogue, travailler le rapport qui s’est instauré entre la réflexion sur l’espace public urbain et celle sur le/les commun(s).
