  Intersections between the system of production and the cultural system

  FORMA has gone out with a new call for papers for an introductory issue in what will be a five year project exploring the intersection between the system of production and the cultural system. Accepting papers that investigate this subject from a wide array of perspectives, from biopolitics and bioethics, to technology, ecology, education, (geo)political conflicts, and more, this aims to be an interdisciplinary, comparative issue with a focus on the humanities understood broadly.

  Cinéclub'Cnam

  Le travail fait l’objet de nombreux travaux, politiques, journalistiques, scientifiques, cinématographiques… Il occupe une place centrale dans les débats et est, le plus souvent, sujet à controverses. La double valence du travail, à la fois vecteur privilégié de la construction du sujet et du lien social et univers de contraintes et d’exploitation, se traduit dans des conceptions, expériences, images du travail contrastées, contradictoires : entre souffrance et plaisir, intégration et exclusion, libération et domination… Le cinéma lui-même nous offre deux images du travail : il est un art mais aussi un travail. Et de nombreux films traitent du travail sous ses différentes dimensions, ses différents mondes et gestes.
