  How we identify describe and name relations of domination?

  Quels que soient les champs relationnels et les pratiques qui constituent leur objet, les chercheurs sont amenés à prendre en compte les rapports de domination qui contribuent à modeler les configurations sociales observées. Comment identifions-nous les objets que nous privilégions à ce stade, et comment nommons-nous les relations observées ? Le privilège accordé à un registre de vocabulaire assigne au chercheur un point de vue particulier sur les rapports sociaux. L'un des thèmes de réflexion proposés dans le cadre de ce colloque concerne la genèse de ces « outils du regard », leurs trajets, leurs usages contemporains. Selon une perspective plus empirique, certaines contributions présenteront un travail de terrain et les questionnements qu'il suscite.Les débats nous permettront de confronter nos usages des catégories d'observation et d'analyse.

  Coming back to land?

  "Tracés", an interdisciplinary journal, vol. 33

  The French-language, interdisciplinary journal Tracés invite contributions from all the social sciences and humanities for its 33^rd volume, which is due to be published in 2017. This themed collection will engage with land and its uses as social issues. From colonial expansion to new migrants in rural areas, from carbon offsetting to landless peasant movements, the collective relationship to space and its productive uses seems to be a rather diverse collection of problems. However, all of them point towards the legal, technical and economic framing of land and they call for interdisciplinary modes of intellection that are not averse to geographical and ecological aspects and insights. This issue will assemble studies that seek to shed light on the past and contemporary politicization of land and land resources. Contributions in English are welcome, although publication will be in French.

  The doctrines and realities of happiness - 1st Angers conference, BonDroit

  Ire rencontre d'Angers - BonDroit

  Ce colloque constitue la première manifestation scientifique du projet de recherche sur le bonheur, subventionné par la Région des Pays de la Loire. Ce programme qui a pour titre « BonDroit » (acronyme de Bonheur et Droit) est mis en place depuis janvier 2016 et s’étale sur une durée de quatre ans. Il ambitionne de faire de la thématique du bonheur et du bien-être social un thème-référence de la région Pays de la Loire. L’enjeu de la « Première rencontre d’Angers - Doctrine et réalité(s) du bonheur » est de poser les jalons de la réflexion sur la notion de bonheur, très peu appréhendée par le droit, en s’appuyant dans un premier temps sur les réflexions déjà engagées par les économistes.
