  Children musicians and musical childhood

  Conference of the French Society for Ethnomusicology

  The conference of the French Society for Ethnomusicology propose to focus on the children's musical world in different cultures, the recovery and re-appropriation of themes from children's repertoires by adult musicians and on the representations of the musical childhood in different societies and cultural groups. Is a child, as we often believe, a malleable being from a cognitive and sensitive perspective? To what extent this conception checks in the observations and experiences of researchers, educators and practitioners of music? To address these questions, we will refer to ethnomusicology and child's psychology but also to historical musicology, anthropology, cognitive sciences and educational sciences.

  Appellatives - acts of speech in parental relations

  Pour la troisième année consécutive, le séminaire « Appellatifs » soutient une recherche collective pluridisciplinaire rassemblant anthropologues, anthropologues-linguistes, linguistes, philosophes et sociologues et ouverte à la participation, entre autres, de juristes, historiens, psychanalyste, etc. Le séminaire propose de s'arrêter sur ces mots – termes de parenté, noms, prénoms, surnoms, pronoms, titres...– qui disent, font, fondent, transforment, mais aussi défont, bouleversent, ou encore nient la parenté. Notre réflexion adopte un double mouvement : il s'agit d'une part de réfléchir sur des cas concrets, issus des enquêtes et/ou des expériences des participants dans une multiplicité de contextes et suivant une variété d'approches liées à leurs formations, aspirations et sensibilités disciplinaires, méthodologiques et théoriques, et, d'autre part, de fonder, par une réflexion épistémologique soutenue, un objet de recherche commun.
