L’image du corps prend une importance qu’elle n’avait pas avant. Les individus, les modes de vie et la société dans sa globalité donnent au paraître un rôle clé dans la construction de l’individu et de son image. Car paraître, c’est aussi construire son identité. La peau et le corps deviennent alors des outils de construction du soi.

  Call for a PhD position: ERC Project Philosophy of Canonical Quantum Gravity

  The European Research Council (ERC) project Philosophy of Canonical Quantum Gravity announces a three-years PhD position. The profile of the searched candidate is that of a candidate with a strong background in mathematical physics interested in the conceptual and mathematical foundations of theoretical physics. The chosen candidate is expected to work on one of the following areas: Philosophy of spacetime and gravitational theories ; Philosophy of quantum mechanics in the light of symplectic geometry, geometric quantization and the theory of constrained Hamiltonian systems ; Philosophy of quantum gravity.
